Forensic Evaluator Psychologist
Lincoln Regional Center | Lincoln, Nebraska
Join Nebraska’s premier forensic psychiatric program at Lincoln Regional Center, a 250-bed Joint Commission-accredited psychiatric hospital serving adults with serious mental illness.
Perform forensic interviews and psychological testing
Prepare comprehensive forensic reports
Provide expert witness testimony
Collaborate with courts, attorneys, judges, and treatment teams

Norfolk Regional Center is a specialized psychiatric hospital providing inpatient mental health and risk reduction treatment services for individuals preparing for successful community reintegration.
As a Psychologist, you will:
Lead interdisciplinary treatment teams
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans
Facilitate individual and group therapy
Conduct violence, suicide, elopement, and sexual re-offense risk assessments
Consult with psychiatry, nursing, social work, and rehabilitation professionals
Provide expert testimony for Mental Health Board hearings
Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives
This role is ideal for psychologists interested in serious mental illness, rehabilitation, behavioral treatment, and risk reduction programming.
Join Nebraska’s Developmental Disabilities Division and help improve outcomes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the state.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments
Providing consultation to treatment teams
Participating in Developmental Disability Court-Ordered Custody Hearings
Offering expert diagnostic opinions
Assisting law enforcement and legal system partners
Developing treatment recommendations and psychological services
Providing psychotherapy and treatment plan oversight

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology
Licensed Psychologist in Nebraska or eligible for Nebraska licensure
Provisionally licensed psychologists are encouraged to apply

Clinical experience in behavioral health, forensic psychology, developmental disabilities, or related settings
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
