The Suicide Prevention Coordinator (SPC) is the sole practitioner for this specialty program assigned to Mental Health Specialty Services. The SPC manages the daily operations of the Suicide Prevention Program, develops policies and procedures for the program operation, and prepares reports and statistics for the facility, VISN and national. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
