Our patient-centered clinic provides diagnostics and advanced treatment of all the dementias. The Sacramento ADC clinic offers personalized care and diagnostic services, clinical research programs and the most advanced clinical trials. Our integrated team of dementia specialists is dedicated to improving the lives of people with dementia and their families across Northern California. THIS IS NOT AN H1- B OPPORTUNITY ResponsibilitiesThis position provides research support to the Department of Neurology, UC Davis Alzheimer's Disease Center clinical trials program. The Candidate will perform research recruitment, neuropsychological testing, data collection and tracking. This individual will collect and document clinical trials research processes according to ICH Good Clinical Practice. Required Qualifications
CITI certification within 3 months of hire
Experience working with clinical trials screening, recruiting and enrolling subjects
Experience administering neuropsychological testing for research studies in Spanish and English
Experience working with older adults with cognitive impairment
Experience processing lab specimens
Hazardous waste shipping and specimen handling certifications
Completion of biomedical research and Good Clinical Practices training
Microsoft Office applications
Ability to speak Spanish
May require travel outside of the state for training on new protocols
ADAS Cog and CDR certifications
May be required to travel to other UC Davis Locations
Schedule flexibility to accommodate shift and research needs
Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for long periods of time; transport specimens from one location to the other; must be able to measure physical dimensions to 0.1 centimeter.
This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment.
