Florida Hospital Celebration seeks to hire a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

Florida Hospital Celebration Health Assessment is composed of lifestyle medicine professionals that provide world class care to individuals seeking convenient and personalized care in one seamless day. CHA delivers comprehensive, head-to-toe integrated health reviews and improvement plans in order optimize performance through total wellness living-body, mind, and spirit.
Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
The Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist is part of a multi-disciplinary team who provides comprehensive care and education for adults, children, and families dealing with behavioral therapy aspect of obesity and related comorbidities and conditions. Collaborates with physicians and other specialists to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs. Collaborates with Executive Health Program to provide stress management to its patients. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Ability to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team
Strong clinical skills in relation to complex psychological issues
Strong knowledge of adult or childhood obesity and diabetes and associated medical and behavioral issues.
Strong knowledge of stress management issues and development of treatment plans
High level of comfort and skill in conducting group and individual therapy and education sessions
Ability to participate in patient care meetings as needed to report individual patient progress, problems, re-assessments, treatment progress and make treatment recommendations.
Ability to quickly and accurately assess patient's triggers, disturbances, and diagnosis.
Ability to develop and maintain clinical records and program documentation.
Strong therapy and assessment skills, working with various departments within the hospital as needed.
Skilled in trauma therapy and adaptive information processing (Preferred)
Skills in research and program planning (Preferred)
Master's degree in Counseling Psychology or equivalent for state licensure as Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI).
Minimum one year of experience working with adult obesity and related psychological conditions.
Experience speaking at large seminars and events with a high level of comfort and skill.
Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Fellowship with APA or CPA-accredited programs focused on clinical psychology (Preferred)
Experience in collaborative research in the area of clinical obesity (Preferred)
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:
Current, valid State of Florida license as a Clinical Psychologist OR Mental Health Counselor
Approved by Florida Board of Health to supervise Mental Health Counseling Interns and Marriage and Family Interns (Preferred)

Performs psychological assessments as part of interdisciplinary new outpatient evaluation
Determines, develops, and provides psychological treatments to outpatients as part of comprehensive treatment plan
Quickly and accurately assesses patients' triggers, disturbances, and diagnosis
Contributes to patient care meetings as needed to report individual patient progress, problems, re-assessments, treatment progress, and making treatment recommendations
Leads group treatment sessions for adults, children, and families addressing various behavioral and psychological issues
Presents and participates in community presentations and lectures as requested
Participates in physician CME events, lectures, and presentations as requested
Participates in research projects as requested by research team
Develops programs relating to psychology services and needs in collaboration with CREATION Health team
Develops and maintains clinical records and program documentation
Assists with data collection, data entry, and research for the programs
Performs other duties as assigned or directed
