Jewish Child & Family Services (JCFS) provides vital, individualized, results-driven, therapeutic and supportive services for thousands of children, adults and families of all backgrounds each year, facing challenges with life transitions, mental health, developmental/intellectual disability and basic human need.
JCFS is looking for a Clinician with the purpose of providing therapy to families with children ages birth to 6.
Must possess LCSW or LCPC
Knowledge of or experience working with Early Childhood Development and/or Early Child Education
Ability to work a flexible schedule required, this will include evening hours
This position requires visits to locations which may or may not be accessible by public transportation. Requires ability to drive, have a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable access to a vehicle to travel in the Chicago metropolitan area
Knowledge of or experience working with children with special needs
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Carries a caseload involving any or all of the Agency's services, which may include, including individual, family, couple and group treatment modalities with a focus on providing services to young children and their family
Provides early childhood mental health consultation off- site
Performs the full range of clinical duties, including the gathering and analysis of data, formulation of assessment and treatment plans, within the context of critical thinking, and implementation of the treatment for routine and complex cases
Develops and implements skills in providing appropriate services with increasing responsibility for the appraisal of the effectiveness of own work through reflection and completion of all outcome measures, documentation and treatment plans
Will provide services and billing under Medicaid Rule 132 as a Qualified Mental Health Professional
