Responsible for the delivery of high quality behavioral health treatment services and the functioning of the
multi-disciplinary team through the provision of specific treatment modalities, including psychological testing,
assessment, and case management. The Neuropsychologist role also provides direct clinical treatment
services, neuropsychological assessment and consultation to the patients and staff of The Rehabilitation
Center of Reading Hospital, and as appropriate to patients of the Department of Psychiatry and other departments.
The In-Patient role also utilizing clinical skills in the therapeutic, diagnostic and assessment process
to ensure delivery of quality mental health services to psychiatric inpatients. Additionally, the In-Patient role
provides quality supervision to psychology interns, students, and other staff as appropriate, ensuring a high
level of educational experience, and coordinates the internship programs on the inpatient unit and provides a
variety of clinical experiences commensurate with the requirements of the university.
Doctorate Degree: Psychology or Related Field
PA State License in applicable discipline
Clinical Experience in the Behavioral Health Profession.
Completion of practicum, internship or work experiences in a diversity of settings providing psychological services, with experience
in neuropsychology or rehabilitation counseling.
Experience working with an inpatient psychiatric population in a psychologist position or its equivalent. Individual must display strengths in a broad spectrum of
psychotherapies, psychological testing, written and verbal communication, interpersonal relations, along with
managerial and supervisory abilities.
